나의 모습과 살아가는 방식을 거스르지 않는 하나의 드레스와의 관계 맺음.

전새나 작가는 동반의 옷을 만드는 작업을 한다.
세계적인 패션 하우스에서 머문 시간을 속에서 옷을 생산하는 것이 아니라 짓고 싶다는 확신에 이르렀을 때, 그녀는 시장에서 한발 물러나 긴 호흡으로 '관계성'과 주목한 작업을 시작하면서 실게 주변 인물들의 다양한 모습을 관찰하며 각자에게 제일 자연스럽게 어울리는 드레스를 한 벌씩 지어냈다.
이것은 작가에게 디자인이라기보다는 한 사람과 동반할 하나의 캐릭터를 불러일으키는 작업에 가깝다.

이번 'ONE IS FINE' 전시는 우리들과 드레스의 사이를 다정하게 맺어주기 위한 작업으로 바라보아도 좋을 것이다.

한국의 전통적인 아름다움의 계승이라는 수직적 차원의 연구를 하는 온지음이 경복궁 담 넘어의 푸르름이 제일 너그러운 표정을 짓는 계절, 한복과 드레스가 나란히 손을 겹쳐잡는 전새나 작가의 작업을 안마당으로 초대하여 우리들이 여자아이였던 시절에 그 아름다운 색과 태를 보며 설레던 마음을 함께 떠올리고 나누고자 한다.

A relationship with a dress that doesn't go against my appearance and way of living.

Chun Sae-na works to make clothes for companions.

When she came to the conviction that she wanted to build clothes rather than produce them during her time at a world-class fashion house, she stepped back from the market and started 'relationship' and focused work with a long breath, showing the various aspects of the people around her. Observing and creating a dress that suits each person most naturally.

For the artist, this is more of a work of evoking a character to accompany a person rather than a design.

This 'ONE IS FINE' exhibition can be viewed as a work to build a friendly bond between us and the dress.

ON JIEUM, that conducts vertical research on the succession of traditional Korean beauty, invites to the courtyard the work of Chun Sae-na, in which hanbok and dress are holding hands side by side, in the season when the green beyond the walls of Gyeongbokgung gives the most generous expression.

We want to share and reminisce about the excitement of seeing the beautiful colors and colors of our childhood days.
