작가의 작업은 비욘세의 <Break My Soul> 노래 한 구절을 통해 시작되었다.
직장을 그만두고, 작가로 살아가기로 맘먹은 포부를 담기에 충분한 한 줄.

도심 속 직장과는 정 반대의 공간. 자연으로 둘러싸인 풍경에서 작가는 도장을 집어 들고 도장을 찍는다. 물 좋고 산 좋은 ‘경상북도 청송’에서 냇가, 정자, 솔밭을 배경으로 한

반복적 도장 행위는 작가만의 신선 놀음이다.

‘나는 나와 논다’는 의미를 지닌 <JOOJOO ASSOCIATE - 주주 이어지는 것> 프로젝트는 결국 ‘결’로 이어진다.
물결처럼 흐름이 같다는 뜻의 ‘결’은 반복적인 행위, 시각적 이미지의 조합, 도형화 구성 등의 작가가 창작한 놀이들이 모여 만들어지는 끈이다.
처음 ‘작업장에서 죽고 싶어, 내가 태어난 곳.’이라고 선포했던 공간인 무목적으로 돌아와 작가로서의 내일을 스스로 다짐하는 ‘이어질 결’을 선보인다.
현재 작가의 작업과 과거 작업이 만나 이어지는 “결”.

The artist's work began with a passage from Beyonce's <Break My Soul> song.

One line is enough to contain the ambition of quitting my job and living as a artist.

A space that is the opposite of a work place in the city. In a landscape surrounded by nature, the artist picks up a seal and stamps it.

In Cheong song, Gyeongsangbuk-do, where the water is good and the mountains are good The repetitive stamping act is the artist's bed of roses.

The <JOOJOO ASSOCIATE - Connecting Gyeol> project, which means 'I play with me', ultimately leads to a 'Gyeol'.

‘Gyeol’, meaning that the flow is the same as a wave, is a string created by the artist’s play, such as repetitive actions, combinations of visual images, and graphic composition.

Returning to the space where he first declared, 'I want to die in the workplace, where I was born.'

A “Gyeol” that connects the work of the current artist with the work of the past.
